How long do paver installations last in Boca Raton?
Properly installed pavers last 25-30+ years with minimal maintenance. The pavers themselves can outlast 50+ years — the limiting factor is usually base preparation quality. We have driveways installed in the 1990s still in service.

What’s the best paver material for South Florida?
Travertine is the most popular for pool decks (stays cool, slip-resistant). Concrete pavers and brick are excellent for driveways. Material depends on use case and aesthetic.
Will pavers crack like concrete?

Yes — we prepare design submissions and coordinate with HOA architectural review boards as part of every project.
Do you need permits for paver work?
Most driveway and major structural paver work requires permits. Pool deck replacements often don’t unless drainage modifications are involved. We handle permitting.
Can you repair pavers installed by another contractor?
Yes — we repair installations regardless of original installer. We can usually source matching or compatible material.
Will pavers be slippery when wet?
Natural-finish travertine, marble, brick, and concrete pavers all provide good wet grip. We avoid polished or smooth surfaces, especially around pools.
Are pavers cooler than concrete in summer?
Light-colored travertine and marble are 15-25°F cooler than dark concrete under identical sun. Color choice matters significantly.
Can pavers go over my existing concrete driveway?
Sometimes — depends on existing concrete condition, drainage, and elevation. Usually we recommend full removal for best long-term result.
How do I maintain pavers?
Annual hose-down, joint re-sanding every 3-5 years, optional sealing every 4-6 years. That’s it.
