About Robert Raypole — Pavers of Boca Raton
A licensed paver contractor in Boca Raton, Florida since 1979 — built on referrals, repeat customers, and a refusal to cut corners.
How It Started
Robert Raypole started laying pavers in Boca Raton in 1979, when the area was still being built out and most of the high-end residential neighborhoods didn’t exist yet. Forty-seven years later, he’s still doing the same work — driveways, pool decks, patios, and outdoor kitchens — for many of the same families and their grown children.
The Way Robert Works
There’s no sales team. No commission-driven estimators showing up in branded trucks pushing the most expensive option. When you call Pavers of Boca Raton, Robert answers the phone. When you schedule an estimate, Robert measures the project himself. When the crew shows up, Robert is on-site or directly accessible by phone.

This isn’t a business model — it’s just how he prefers to operate. The result is that most projects come from referrals, and most clients use him for two or three projects across a decade.
Materials & Specialization
Robert works with the full range of paver materials common in South Florida: travertine (the most popular for pool decks and patios because it stays cool under bare feet), marble, porcelain (newer to the market, excellent for modern aesthetics), brick, concrete pavers in dozens of patterns, and natural tumbled stone.
For pool deck installations specifically, he specializes in materials and installation methods that handle Boca Raton’s combination of high humidity, salt air, and intense sun without fading, cracking, or becoming slippery when wet.
Service Area
Pavers of Boca Raton serves homes across Palm Beach County — Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Highland Beach, Deerfield Beach, Lighthouse Point, Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, Parkland, Coconut Creek, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach. For projects outside this area, call Robert directly to discuss.
